Riverside is a training practice which means we often have GP Registrars, medical students and student nurses on placements at the surgery.  If you would prefer that the student is not present suring your consultation.  Please inform the GP or Nurse.

We also have a number of additional roles at the surgery providing alternatives to GP appointments.  We have a pharmacist who can review and issue medication and dicsuss any side effects.  She can also advise about over the counter remedies.

We have a Paramedic who can provide consultations to out patients with on the day acute issues.

We have access to a number of appointments daily with The First Contact Physio Service which provides direct access to a Physiotherapist who can advise on any Musculoskeletal issues.  The First Contact Physio Team are currently only providing telephone appointments for their initial assessments.
